The Entity Cafe

I'm Brenda. Let's talk literature, yoga, romance, liberty, and God. I don't know what this blog is about yet.

College

Humanities major and English minor, plus certificates of Professional Writing and Organic Agriculture.

I love the people that come down to our part of the river to go fly fishing. The sun is just coming up, glistens on the river, and the movement of the fisherman and his line is like a rolling wave.

The Creation of the World

According to Norse myth, the creation of the world stems from the World Tree, or World Ash Tree. This tree, named Yggdrasil, came from the body of Ymil, and holds nine worlds. In the center of this tree is the world Midgard. In Midgard, we find ourselves, the humans. When the ice melted from the last ice age, and new life sprung, Midgard came to be. There are thought to be other worlds to the north, south, east, and west, including a land of the dead. Surrounds Midgard is a vast ocean, and a wall enclosing the world of Man created by the Gods for protection.
